Provision of Urban Amenities in Rural Areas (PURA) Scheme launches on 24th February 2012, in Kerala’s Thalikulam (Thrissur) & Thirurangadi (Malappuram) Panchayats. This initiative taken by Ministry of Rural Development to introduce Public-Private Partnership in rural infrastructure development will be inaugurated by Honourable Minister for Rural Development, Mr Jairam Ramesh. The inaugural function will include signing of the concession agreement between the private developer INKEL Limited and Presidents of the two Gram Panchayats.
